IMMERSIVE SOUND BATH

Where sound dissolves the boundary between body and stillness

Sana’s sound bath is a premiere of Mood Universe – a unique immersive experience created for Polygon Portal’s 360° spatial audio environment.

Using live Tibetan singing bowls, cinematic strings, and subtle electronics, sound is placed precisely in three dimensions – surrounding, enveloping, and moving through the body. The body becomes the instrument, stirred into a profound stillness within.

Sana, also known as Alliz Espi, is a classically trained string player, composer, and producer. Her music captures a deep stillness inspired by the natural world, merging live strings, synths, and unconventional instruments such as Tibetan singing bowls into an evocative electro-acoustic soundscape. Her spatialised catalogue is used on Apple Fitness + and is available across platforms to support wellbeing and ritual. Meditations on The Elements was used to launch Apple Music’s Meditation section and Mood Universe is her newest work to celebrate Meditation Day this May.

Duration: 60 minutes per session

Session 1: 11:00-12:00
Session 2: 12:30-13:30

Seating

The room is set up with 12 yoga mats on the ground floor and additional seating. Please come barefoot; shoes are not worn on the mats.

Sound System

Sana’s sound baths are presented on a L-Acoustics 17.1.10 spatial audio system: 17 speakers surrounding you at ear level, 10 speakers overhead, and a dedicated sub channel with four subwoofers at the front of the room. The resonance of Tibetan singing bowls, live strings, and subtle electronics is placed in precise points in three-dimensional space – the effect on the body is felt as much as it is heard.
