Weval

Playback Listening Session in 360° spatial audio.

Harm Coolen and Merijn Scholte Albers – better known as Weval – have spent over a decade pairing lavish synths and dazzling melodies with reflective, intricate production, building a body of off-kilter electronica that sits somewhere between indie, funk and techno.

At Polygon Portal, two of their records – CHOROPHOBIA and Remember – are being played back in full, reimagined on one of the world’s best spatial audio systems.

The tracks you know, reshaped to move around you, above you, and through you. Synth lines appear in places you didn’t expect, textures expand, and details you’ve never noticed reveal themselves.

You’ll sit inside the music, the way Weval heard it in their heads. Where you’ll not just hear it, but feel it – creating a powerful connection to the music, the artist and everyone around you in the room.

Two pioneering pieces of work, start to finish, the way they were meant to be felt.
