Sanaya Ardeshir is an Indian composer who writes music from the inside out – for the body, the bloodline, the room.
At Polygon Portal, her debut album Hand Of Thought plays in full, alongside a world preview of Tower Of Silence – a new orchestral work with GRAMMY-winning ensemble Alarm Will Sound, featuring vocalist Gideon Crevoshay.
Hand Of Thought was crafted across India, Germany, and the US, featuring acclaimed percussionist and producer Sarathy Korwar and one of India’s leading saxophonists, Rhys Sebastian. It blends contemporary and electronic forms with an unconventional nod to cinematic and classical traditions. At its heart, an exploration of matrilineality – the passing of intuition, wisdom, and emotional inheritance through the female bloodline, told through the experiences of Parsi women in her family in mid-20th-century Bombay.
In Tower Of Silence, Ardeshir explores the intersection of ancient Parsi funerary traditions, ecological crisis, and ancestral connection – reimagining the sacred Dakhma structures as portals where ancestors tend to the spirits of the vanishing.
Two works. One evening.

Arrival Times / Doors
Please arrive 30 minutes before your show. You will be taken to the 1st floor where a secret Soho bar will be awaiting you. A bell will be rung 15 minutes before the show and you will be shown to your seats. The doors will be closed at the stated show time and the event will start 5 minutes later. Late entry is not permitted once the show has started.

There are cinema chairs and Togo chairs, it is first come first served so arrive early and sit where you want.
