De La Soul - 3 Feet High and Rising

Album Playback in 360º spatial audio

De La Soul are one of hip hop’s most inventive and boundary-pushing acts. Formed in Amityville, New York, the trio of Posdnuos, Trugoy, and Maseo turned sampling into an art form, threading playful wordplay, jazz-inflected grooves, and left-field humor into a sound that reshaped what rap could be.

Released in 1989, 3 Feet High and Rising is widely regarded as one of the greatest albums ever made. Produced by Prince Paul, it introduced the world to “Me Myself and I,” “The Magic Number,” “Buddy,” and “Eye Know” . A record so singular in its sampling and spirit that the Library of Congress selected it for preservation in the National Recording Registry.

Now, decades on, we invite you to experience the full album from start to finish, played back in stunning 360° spatial audio. Every sample, every skit, every layered groove surrounds you completely.

This is 3 Feet High and Rising as you’ve never heard it before.
