Coltrane 100

"A Love Supreme" and "John Coltrane & Johnny Hartman" in Spatial Audio

Audiences can expect a night of intentional listening to experience two of John Coltrane’s most celebrated albums in hi fi Spatial Audio. 2026 marks John Coltrane’s 100th birthday, and this event is part of a yearlong celebration, honouring an artist whose work permanently reshaped the language, ambition, and purpose of music. The experience is part of a select group of events officially sanctioned by the John Coltrane Estate.

Considered one of the most preeminent jazz artists of all time, and one of the most influential musical artists of any genre, John Coltrane (1926-1967) has truly played a part in shaping the music of today. With over 25 million albums sold, Coltrane’s music defined a comet-like path of rapid growth and dizzying rate of change.

The inspiration Coltrane’s legacy continues to instill remains as strong as it is necessary – evidence of the unifying power of music: an argument to cherish our collective heritage; a mandate to listen to and learn from each other.

A century on, the music still moves.
